Send results to BI tools

You can send query results to BI tools like Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau.

  1. Databricks

  2. Microsoft Power BI

  3. Tableau

Databricks

Databricks provides a unified platform for data and AI that supports large-scale processing for batch and streaming workloads, standardized machine learning lifecycles, and accelerated data science workflows for large datasets.

Databricks must be enabled before you can configure an orchestration to send query results to that destination. Ask your DataGrid Operator or Amperity representative to enable a Databricks destination for your tenant.

Note

Data is not sent directly to Databricks. Databricks must connect to a location that contains the files against which Databricks will operate. Amperity supports several approaches, including sending data to cloud-based storage, to Snowflake, and to Business Intelligence Connect, a data warehouse that can be enabled for customers of Amperity who have licensed Amp360.

Microsoft Power BI

Microsoft Power BI is a collection of software services, applications, and connectors that work together to turn unrelated sources of data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights.

Microsoft Power BI must be enabled before you can configure an orchestration to send query results to that destination. Ask your DataGrid Operator or Amperity representative to enable Microsoft Power BI for your tenant.

Note

Data is not sent directly to Microsoft Power BI. Microsoft Power BI must connect to a location that contains the files against which Microsoft Power BI will operate. Amperity supports several approaches, including sending data to Snowflake, Microsoft Azure (and Microsoft Synapse Analytics), Google Cloud Storage (and Google BigQuery), and to Business Intelligence Connect, a data warehouse that can be enabled for customers of Amperity who have licensed Amp360.

Tableau

Tableau is a visual analytics platform that empowers people and organizations to make the most of their data. Tableau connects to a data source, and then queries that data directly.

Tableau must be enabled before you can configure an orchestration to send query results to that destination. Ask your DataGrid Operator or Amperity representative to enable Tableau for your tenant.

Note

Data is not sent directly to Tableau. Tableau must connect to a location that contains the files against which Tableau will operate. Amperity supports several approaches, including sending data to cloud-based storage, to Snowflake, and to Business Intelligence Connect, a data warehouse that can be enabled for customers of Amperity who have licensed Amp360.
