Digital channels

The digital channel through which a transaction was made. For example: Facebook, Google Ads, email, etc.

You can access digital channels directly from the Segment Editor. To add this attribute to your segment, click Add criteria, select the Unified Transactions table, select the Digital Channel attribute, apply a condition, and then specify a value.

For example, if your tenant had digital channels defined for “Email”, “Paid media”, “Paid search”, “SMS”, and “Streaming” the list of options would be:

Available conditions

The following table lists the conditions that are available to this attribute.

Note

This attribute has a String data type. All String data types share the same set of conditions. Recommended conditions for this attribute are identified with “  Recommended” and conditions with more limited use cases are identified with “  Not recommended”.

is blank returns an audience that does not have a value associated with the digital channel.

is in list returns an audience that matches a digital channel (or channels) in the list.

is like

is like returns an audience that is similar to a partial name of a digital channel.

is not

is not returns an audience that is not associated with the digital channel.

is not blank

is not blank returns an audience that is associated with a specific digital channel.

is not in list

  Not recommended

is not in list returns an audience that is not associated with any digital channel in the list.

is not like

  Not recommended

is not like returns an audience that is not similar to a partial name of a digital channel.

is not NULL

  Not recommended

is not NULL returns customer records that have a value.

is NULL

is NULL returns customer records that do not have a value.
